Patrick Paule is an employee benefits advisor with One Source Benefit Solutions. He has 13 years of experience advocating on behalf of employers and their group insurance plans. In addition to serving his clients, Pat also has spent time serving on various community boards and is currently active in the National Association of Health Underwriters, as the Legislative Chair for the Ohio chapter. Patrick plays an integral role in helping local benefits managers and business owners understand health care reform by taking the complex and simplifying it.
Patrick has spoken on the impact and challenges of health care reform to various organizations, including the Bowling Green, Ohio and Bluffton, Ohio Chambers of Commerce as well as to the clients of One Source Benefit Solutions. He was also featured in the July 17, 2009 CNBC article titled “Taxing Healthcare: Income Distribution by Another Name?” which discussed the costs and tax ramifications of health care reform.
Patrick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Defiance College in 1997. He is continuing his education through professional certification training and is currently working toward his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation, which is considered the standard of excellence in the industry.
Patrick and his wife, Amanda, live in Perrysburg with their children Drew, Dylan, and Isaac. Patrick takes great pride in giving back to the northwest Ohio community in which he lives. He is the President of the Perrysburg Junior Jackets Basketball Program, which serves more than 500 boys and girls. In addition to serving on various committees for the Bowling Green and Perrysburg Chambers of Commerce, Patrick also stays involved as a board member for the Bowling Green Community Development Foundation and is a graduate of Leadership Toledo.
